Mirror placement and Vaastu

In Vaastu Shastra, we look for balance in basic 5 elements (i.e. Air,Water,Space,Earth and Fire). To maintain harmony in any given space,this is very much essential to follow and apply Vaastu principles to maintain this balance.
According to basic elements, mirror denotes water element as water reflects image and mirror also does the same.So, when we place mirror in home/office/shop,we should place it according to vaastu norms.
In vaastu, we can use mirror for correction of various Vaastu errors.If an area is cut,we can use mirror in that place to rectify it.But, this should not be done without taking expert professional advice.
Let us have a look at various Vaastu directions and effect of mirror while placed at those directions :
EAST
It is good to place mirror in East. Mirror is water element and east direction denotes Air element. So, there remains harmony between these two elements in this case.
SOUTH EAST
South East direction denotes fire element. If we put mirror in this direction, then water element extinguishes fire element.As a result, various problems like increase in unnecessary expenditures, accidents etc.may take place.
SOUTH
This direction also comes under fire element. If mirror is placed in South direction,it can result in various unfavourable incidents.So, it is not advised to place any mirror here.
SOUTH WEST
South West denoted Earth element.If mirror is placed in this direction,then Earth element blocks the Water element.As a result, work related opportunities may get blocked.Apart from that,turmoil in family relationship,illness of health etc. may also take place.So, it is not advisable to place mirror in this direction.
WEST
West direction denotes Space element.After analysing zonal strength and other features of this zone as per Vaastu norms,we can use mirror in this direction.
NORTH EAST,NORTH,NORTH WEST
We can use mirror in these directions as these directions denote Water element.
When a mirror is placed in wrong direction,we can apply suitable Vaastu remedies to rectify the ill effects. So, it is always advised to examine the premises by an expert Vaastu Consultant.
